Today in the afternoon, the president of this country Dr William Samoe Ruto took on his facebook page to disclose that the ODM party leader Hon Raila Odinga and Kisumu governor Hon Anyang’ Nyong’o joined him at State House for a key event.
According to the president, Raila Odinga and Nyong’o were among the top leaders who joined him during the awarding of charter to Uzima university. This event happened at State House where Uzima university became a chartered university. Others who attended this event is Julius Ogamba, Prof Bitok among others.
During this event, president William Ruto assured the country that his government is doing whatever it takes to expand access in the education sector and improve the infrastructure.
“We are pursuing bold, creative, and targeted reforms in the education sector to expand access, reform the curriculum, address funding challenges, improve infrastructure, and enhance the quality of training and research.” Said Dr William Ruto.
