World-renowned smooth jazz saxophonist Kenny G, on Friday morning, paid a visit to Radio Africa Group Classic 105 studios, where he met presenters and staff and spoke about his decades-long musical journey.

The stopover came a day before his highly anticipated “One Night Only” concert at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Saturday, September 27.

Kenny G, whose hits have defined the smooth jazz genre for decades, arrived at the group’s offices to a warm reception from Classic 105 hosts.

During the session, he shared insights into his life on the road, the inspirations behind his timeless melodies, and what East African fans can look forward to when he takes the stage on Saturday night.

The Grammy award-winning artist said he was excited to finally perform in Kenya, after years of fans only knowing him through recordings.

He promised an evening filled not just with his signature saxophone sound but also powerful solos from his band’s pianist, guitarist, and drummer.

The “One Night Only” concert is being staged through a partnership between Radio Africa Group, Stanbic Kenya, Safaricom, and other corporate sponsors.

The collaboration aims to deliver a premium live-music experience to Kenyan audiences and mark a milestone in East Africa’s growing entertainment calendar.
