According elections result as at now, the incumbent President Cyril Ramaphosa of the ANC clocks more than 1 Million votes with 1,012,892 votes , DA leader John Steenhuisen has 575,558 votes and EFF’s Julius Malema is third with 207,239 votes . This is after 5013 of 23293 Voting Districts completed.
In their reactions people expressed their worry in the results as majority who thought that opposition leader, Julius Malema would rise to the seat are now losing hope. In the country’s political field, Malema is known to be controversial with all his politics revolving around uniting Africa.
In Kenya, Malema is greatly remembered for slamming former prime minister Raila Odinga for failing to recognise President William Ruto as the elected President in the previous elections in Kenya. Malema thus accused Odinga of creating chaos in the East African country. Check out reactions below;
