As the clock ticks towards the 2027 general election, Chief Inspector of Police Dr Rhodah Kithuku is not leaving anything to chance in her bid to be elected as the next Kitui County Women Representative.
The high ranking cop who is attached to the medical department, has already hit the campaign trail in a bid to popularize her bid ahead of 2027.
Dr Kithuku has been holding grassroots meetings even as she endears herself to the electorate.
The Kitui County Women Representative position is currently held by Irene Kasalu, who is believed to be eyeing the Governor seat with the incumbent Dr Julius Malombe set to leave office after serving for two terms.
If Kasalu exits the race for the county MP seat, then the Administration Police officer will be having an upper hand to win the seat, especially if she secures the Wiper Patriotic Front party ticket.
