After Sarah Njogu, also known as Sarah Gwan, died mysteriously, her family is demanding justice. On June 25, Sarah fell inexplicably from the second-floor balcony of her Seasons, Kasarani condominium.
It is believed that just before she fell, Sarah had a disagreement with her three friends—two women and one guy.
Geoffrey Njogu, Sarah’s father, told Citizen Digital that a police report from Kasarani Police Station connected the three companions to Sarah’s collapse.
“I was dozing off. I hurriedly got up and got ready to leave for Nairobi. When I got to the Kasarani Police Station in Nairobi at around seven in the morning, I told the officers that my daughter had just fallen off a balcony and that her family thought her friends might have been.
Sarah’s mother, Mary Wanjiru, has refuted previous allegations made by her friends that Sarah leaped for joy. “My daughter is someone I know. In my household, she was the strongest lady.
Sarah started to be independent at a very young age in her life. She was a go-getter and had a very strong heart. Sarah is not going to take her own life. Her mother remarked, “That’s not the Sarah I knew.”
Sarah’s sister has also voiced skepticism about the information provided by her pals, Angie and Vanessa. The sister claimed that the friends were providing varying versions of what actually happened before to Sarah falling.
