The last few hours or so have indeed been memorable for popular nominated Senator Veronica Maina.
This is because her friends decided to surprise with a memorable birthday treat, as she had officially turned a year older unbeknownst to many.
Veronica Maina was actually taken to a date by her friends Susan Kihika, who is the Governor of Nakuru County and her husband Sam Mburu, as well as Rahab Mukami, who is the Woman Representative for Nyeri.
The nominated Senator actually disclosed this in a post that she made on her Facebook account on Tuesday, the 20th of May, where she even shared photos that they took together at one exquisite hotel, where they were enjoying a meal together.
The UDA Party legislator also added a video that showed how the staff of that hotel even made her day more special, by singing for her a happy birthday song
Veronica Maina further added a long caption, where she gushed over her birthday and further appreciated her friends for surprising her with the birthday treat.
“I really thank God for the blessing of another year! This is a gift I will never take for granted and though on many occasions it passes by quietly yet am very grateful for the gift of life and the gifts of great friends who’ve become family to me also. Thanks for the impromptu birthday surprise Governor Susan, Kiongozi Sam and Hon. Mukami I treasure your friends and appreciate your love and best wishes on this special day!” Veronica Maina said.
