Popular Kikuyu DJ, DJ Mac Dee is reportedly heartbroken after thieves stole his expensive DJ mixer machine right after he completed a high-profile performance in Kiambu.
DJ Mac Dee, who is widely known in the Kikuyu entertainment scene, was the target of robbery shortly after the event. According to reports, the armed suspects went after him because of his popularity and the work he was booked to do.
It is alleged that the robbers approached his vehicle, forced entry, and then broke into the car to access his equipment.
Witnesses and sources say the thieves shattered windows using blunt objects during the break-in.
After gaining access, they reportedly stole the DJ machine described as his only mixer leaving him without the main tool he uses for his performances.
DJ Mac Dee later shared his ordeal on his social media accounts, expressing deep pain and frustration at what happened.
In his post, he said his car was broken into and that his new DJ mixer model S11 was taken.
He also questioned why the robbery was carried out and described the financial loss as very painful, noting that the stolen equipment was expensive.
He added that he had just started the day and still had work to do, making the loss even more difficult to deal with.
He further expressed disappointment that the thieves appeared to take only the DJ equipment rather than anything else, saying they seemed to have been focused on his profession and the machine itself.
In his message, DJ Mac Dee also appealed for help and protection, saying he needed God’s intervention. He asked for strength as he described “vibes” and conflicts in the entertainment world as becoming too many and too intense.
