It is no secret that DJ Krowbar’s wife Joyce Wanjiru Karumba is no more.
The mother of three, who was also an interior designer, unfortunately died in the early hours of Monday, January 26, 2026 at around 3 AM.
According to reports, Joyce Wanjiru Karumba died after having complications following a kidney transplant that they underwent last year.
She is actually survived by her husband DJ Krowbar and their three children Toria, Riri and Imani.

Former Inooro TV presenter, who is also a gospel musician Hellen Muthoni has reacted to the sad news of the death of Joyce Wanjiru Karumba.
The sassy queen has actually revealed some little-known information about the chat that they had on Saturday, this past weekend, before she unfortunately died.
Hellen Muthoni shared a screenshot of their WhatsApp chat, that confirmed that the two indeed knew each other well before Joyce Wanjiru Karumba died.
From the screenshot, it was clear that Joyce Wanjiru had sent a video to Hellen Muthoni, that talked about how sometimes we may have plans as humans, but then God has better plans for us.
Joyce Wanjiru Karumba then added two messages, in which she said:
“Hi dear”.
“From Kenya to the world”.
Hellen Muthoni then responded to her by saying “Amen!”.
