2023 has started on a sad note for female Kiss100 radio presenter Kamene Goro, who will soon depart the station. Kamene joined Kiss100 in 2019 to lots of fanfare after the departure of Shaffie Weru and Adelle Onyango.
Kiss100 has not released any official communication about why the female radio presenter was leaving but all signs suggest that she could be getting sacked. Indeed, according to a recent article by the buzzing room, Kamene Goro may have gotten sacked due to being late and calling in sick severally.
The female radio presenter was accused of calling co-workers one hour before a show’s start to inform them that she wouldn’t be arriving in time because she was sick despite Kamene receiving half a million worth of monthly salary.
Hence, the management was forced to convene a meeting which resulted in the female radio presenter getting sacked at the beginning of 2023. In Oga Obinna’s final message to Kamene, he noted that she was a shoulder for him to cry on and did not mind his various relationship scandals.
He thanked her for polishing him up and welcoming him at the station before shooting his shot. “I wish you well and will always be a phone call away.” “Mkiwachana na afande, nipigie.” Obina said in his farewell.
