Kanyari 7

Veteran preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari has opened up about his controversial KSh 310 offering that he used to ask congregants to send him.

The man of God found himself in trouble when an expose was made about his offering demands, which saw many accuse him of being a swindler.

However, while on a live TikTok, Kanyari maintained that he never held a gun against anyone or forced them to send him money.

Pastor Kanyari maintains he never stole people’s money
He rebuked those who used to send him money while subtly dissing them for doing that despite knowing it was a ‘scam’.

In his words:

“You cannot say I got rich because of asking for 310. I used to ask 310, and did I force anyone to send it? I was just saying on TV, and there is no one I held a gun against and told from today this is a gun, give me 310. I was just at home saying, take your offering of 310, send it to this number. And then I pray with you, and they used to send like an ocean. Now you have been lied to.”

The man of God also wondered how people would write down the number, confirm it and still proceed to send the money.

“Who stole from you? Nobody stole from you,” he further said.

Netizens react to Kanyari’s claims Here are some of the comments from social media users:
