Kapseret MP Oscar Sui has taken on former Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu after the later posted a photo of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on his Facbook page.
This was after the former MP, who had gone underground in the political arena, recently emerged with posts defending Gachagua from the ongoing political onslaught from a section of MPs from Mt Kenya region.
While reacting to Wambugu’s post, Sudi accused the former MP of allegedly misleading the DP whom he described as “my boss” He lashed out at Wambugu, calling him a double-faced politician and a hoodwinker who is misleading Gachagua.
This comes just a day after a total of 46 MPs from the Mt Kenya region met in Laikipia county and endorsed CS Kithure Kindiki as their spokesperson on matters affecting the region.
While reacting to this, Wambugu said that had reminded him of his Kieleweke days in Jubilee, where he convened a long list of MPs to announce their defection from Ruto’s camp. He went ahead to spell doom for Kimani Ichungwa led team, warning that they could all be send home in 2027 just like his team that was sent home in 2022.
The former MP went ahead to reveal that they had planned an endorsement of DP Rigathi Gachagua in Mt Kenya East on Monday. He also revealed that the MPs supporting the DP from Mt Kenya West will also do the same on Thursday as one way o countering Ichung’was team.
