A new opinion poll released by Swiss Poll International shows the race for the Ol Kalou constituency parliamentary seat is extremely fluid with the top two candidates in a statistical dead heat.

The poll conducted on April 24 2026 surveyed 1471 respondents with a margin of error of plus or minus four percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.

According to the results if the election were held today Eng Peter Mugo popularly known as PM leads with 24 percent.

He is closely followed by Hon Kamau Ngotho at 21 percent. Given the margin of error the two candidates are effectively tied meaning the seat is truly up for grabs.

Paul Wathuta comes in third with 15 percent followed by George Wambugu Delight at 13 percent.

Paul Waiganjo has nine percent while Eng Peter Karanja has six percent.

Other candidates collectively account for five percent and only two percent of voters remain undecided.

Swiss Poll International noted that the race is changing by day and every rally every door knock and every vote will count.
