Orange Democratic Movement is of the largest and oldest parties in Kenya. It is led by the opposition leader Raila Amolo Odinga. Recently, section of the members of parliament allied to the party were accused of visiting State House without notification to the party. Amongst them included Langata constituency member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor aka Jalango and Bondo member of parliament Gideon Ochanda.

Today, the party ordered removal of Gideon Ochanda as the branch Secretary. According to a post shared by the Star newspaper on twitter, the move was agreed after a delegates’ meeting held at the branch office in Koyucho in Bondo Town.

The ODM party allied delegates who visited the president termed the visit as development inclined and not politics.
