TikToker Obidan Dela has shared a positive update on the former Nairobi County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria, who was recently admitted to hospital, revealing that he is stabilising and has started eating as he continues to recover.

In a video shared on his Instagram page on Monday, November 2, 2026, Obidan said Mosiria was doing better and thanked those who had shown concern about his condition. “Mosiria has recovered well and is doing well. He is starting to stabilise, and he is starting to eat,” Obidan said.

The update comes amid growing interest from members of the public who have been following Mosiria’s health situation and hoping to visit him.

Obidan acknowledged that many people would like to see Mosiria either at the hospital or at home but explained that it would not be possible to accommodate everyone.

Instead, he announced plans for a thanksgiving ceremony where supporters, artists, leaders and members of the public will have an opportunity to come together in his honour.

According to Obidan, the event will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at a venue along Kapsabet Road, near KCA University. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5 pm, with free entry for those wishing to attend.

He said the gathering would primarily be an opportunity to thank God for Mosiria’s recovery and recognise his work supporting people in Nairobi over the years. Obidan mentioned Mosiria’s support for young people, orphans, mothers and older members of the community, saying the event would celebrate the impact he has had on their lives.

He also invited entertainers, political leaders and members of the public to attend, clarifying that the gathering would not be about politics. “It’s not about politics that day. It’s all about celebrating Mosiria,” he said.

Obidan further appealed to individuals and well-wishers who would like to support the event financially or through sponsorship to reach out to him.

The announcement offers members of the public an alternative way to show support for Mosiria without having to make individual hospital visits, as he continues his recovery.
