The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has broken silence with a new proposal revolving around establishment of new structures across all roads in the country.
In its draft strategic plan for 2023-2027, the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has proposed establishment of new road barriers across all roads strategically placed within the expansive Kenyan borders.
Giving a glimpse of what the barriers essentially entails, the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has notified Kenyans inhabiting varied local and regional destinations that the proposed barriers basically include median and roadside barriers.
The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has further unmasked the pivotal reason behind the proposal on establishment of the stated cohort of barriers across all road in the country. The state agency articulated that the move is solemnly aimed at curbing cases of road traffic accidents by simply tackling head-on road crashes.
The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has further intimated that the barriers will also be part of road designs in order to ensure that they are installed during road constructions.
