Kenyans have been left talking after Esther Musila, wife to gospel singer Guardian Angel, finally broke her silence following weeks of online attacks.
In a short video shared on her page, Esther appeared calm but serious as she addressed the kind of comments she keeps seeing whenever she opens her comment section. From the look on her face, this time she was clearly tired.
Esther said she minds her own business, goes to the gym, focuses on herself and simply posts her life like any other person. However, she revealed that every time she checks the comments, she is shocked by how cruel some people can be. According to her, strangers judge her, call her names and attack her marriage for no reason at all.
As expected, many Kenyans already know where the hate comes from. Ever since she married Guardian Angel, who is 21 years younger than her, Esther has been a constant target online. Some people never miss a chance to remind her of her age whenever she posts photos or videos.
After her message, the comment section quickly changed tone.
Some fans encouraged her to stay strong, telling her that happiness looks good on her. Others asked her to ignore the noise and live her life, while a few urged her to take legal action against online bullies. Messages of love, hugs and support flooded her page, with many saying the attacks are unfair and unnecessary.
This is not the first time the couple has faced criticism over their age difference, but Esther’s message made one thing clear that she has had enough.
