The family of the late Kenyan journalist Nick Mudimba had appealed for financial help from well-wishers, so that they can be able to use the money to give him a befitting farewell.
This was actually disclosed by his fellow journalist Trix Ingado, who posted a screenshot of the message from the family on her instagram stories.
According to the post, it was clear that if someone wanted to contribute some money, then they were to send it to the phone number 0795798879, which belongs to Lillian Mudimba, a family member of the late journalist.
Furthermore, the family has planned to hold a harambee, where they hope to raise more money that will be used for the burial ceremony of the late Nick Mudimba.
That special harambee will be held on Sunday, the 30th of March, at 3 PM, at Shaba Village, House number B38, in Syokimau.

According to reports, Nick Mudimba collapsed and died in his house in Syokimau, Machakos County, on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in the evening.
The talented CGTN Africa journalist, who previously worked at KTN and Switch TV, was said to be unwell and he was diagnosed with uric acid on Saturday.
It is said that Nick Mudimba had even been prescribed some medication that he took on Sunday morning, hours before he unfortunately died.
Nick Mudimba will actually be laid to rest on Saturday, April 5, at his home county of Busia.
