Kenyan socialite Amber Ray has opened up about her recent cosmetic procedures in Turkey and revealed how her husband, Kennedy Rapudo, reacted after seeing the results.
Amber shared the details during a question and answer session with her followers on Instagram. She disclosed that she underwent several procedures, including Liposuction 360, as part of her recent transformation. She also revealed that she is undergoing a major dental makeover.
However, what caught the attention of many fans was her revelation about Rapudo’s reaction to the surgery.
According to Amber, Rapudo was initially against the idea of her undergoing the procedures. She said he did not want her to go under the knife and was not comfortable with the decision before she travelled to Turkey.
His reaction reportedly changed after he saw the results.
Amber said Rapudo has since been eager for her to return home, although she appeared amused by his remarks.
“Before the procedure he was so against it. But now that he has seen the results he keeps saying I cannot wait for you to get back. I really do not know what he means by that,” Amber said.
Her response quickly amused her followers, with many interpreting Rapudo’s statement as a sign that he was impressed by her new look.
Amber also gave her followers a glimpse into the difficult side of the experience. She revealed that her Liposuction 360 procedure lasted about six hours and that she experienced intense pain after waking up from anaesthesia.
She rated the pain at nine out of ten and said it only became manageable after she was given pain medication.
The socialite also admitted that she was afraid before undergoing the surgery. She explained that the thought of not waking up after the procedure had crossed her mind, but she decided to trust the doctors she had chosen and put her faith in God.
Amber further addressed speculation that she had undergone a Brazilian Butt Lift, commonly known as a BBL. She dismissed the claims and maintained that her bum is natural.
Apart from the body procedures, Amber revealed that she is also working on her smile. She said she is having 21 teeth worked on at a cost of about KSh 44,000 per tooth. This would put the estimated total at approximately KSh 924,000.
Amber’s revelations have continued to generate reactions online, with fans particularly curious about Rapudo’s reaction when she finally returns home.
