Kenyan singer Stivo Simple Boy and his girlfriend Brenda have announced they are expecting their first child. The couple shared the happy news through a beautiful maternity photoshoot posted on social media.
Brenda looked stunning in three different outfits — a flowing pink gown, a sky-blue dress, and a white outfit — while Stivo appeared shirtless in most of the photos. The shoot took place beside a green waterfall, giving the pictures a peaceful and natural look.
In one of the photos, Stivo is seen kissing Brenda’s baby bump, clearly showing his excitement. He captioned the post with a message full of joy and hope:
“Life is a journey… now we have a boy or girl coming to continue the legacy.” He also thanked the studio that took the photos.
Fans and fellow celebrities were quick to send their congratulations. Jalang’o, Betty Kyallo, Jovial, and many others shared kind words and celebrated the couple’s journey.
But the happy news comes just weeks after Stivo admitted in a podcast that he once doubted Brenda’s pregnancy. He explained that a past experience involving a friend made him cautious. Still, with the photos now out, it seems the couple has fully embraced the moment.
However, Stivo is still facing criticism from his ex-girlfriend Grace Atieno, who claims he has not been supporting their child. She says she has been covering the child’s needs alone and that Stivo often delays when asked for help.
Despite the drama, fans are focusing on the positive — and many are looking forward to seeing “Baby Dragon”, as some are calling the unborn child, arrive.
This new chapter for Stivo is a chance to show growth, both in music and fatherhood.
