Wambui Cyndy

Just three weeks after renowned radio personalities Kwambox and Kerry Martin announced their exit from Kiss FM, their replacements have now been officially unveiled.

The new hosts of the morning show at the Radio Africa-owned stationed are actually Cyd Wambui and Muchina Malomba.

This was actually announced by the station on Monday morning via a post that they made on their instagram account, where they said:

“The wait is over…The mornings just got LOUDER 🚨 Introducing the voices that will change your mornings @muchinamalomba & @cydwambui 🔥🎙The new Morning show is about to make your Mornings even better. Tune in on the #MuchinaAndCyd show…” the post said in part.

It should be noted that Cyd Wambui and Muchina Malomba are actually not new faces at Kiss FM.

The two talented radio presenters have actually worked at the station for awhile, and they used to host a show dubbed Maloko Show that used to air on weekdays at night.

This therefore means that Cyd Wambui and Muchina Malomba have just been moved from hosting the night show to now them hosting the morning show.

It can be remembered however that Sheila Kwamboka alias Kwambox and Kerry Martin hosted their last show at Kiss FM on the 30th of April this year.

The two had actually worked at the Radio Africa-owned station for over a year, before they decided to call it quits.

When Kwambox announced that she was leaving Kiss FM, she hinted that she was going to explore other avenues, saying “It’s time for change”.

“Stepping into the new you requires letting go of the old you! Tomorrow is the end of a very significant chapter of my life! For 13 years, radio has been my identity, it’s time for change! Tomorrow I will host my last show” she said.

On his part, Kerry Martin reflected on his radio journey and gushed over how it has been.

“It’s been 11 years on radio. From my first show on Homeboyz Radio in 2014 to wrapping up Kenya’s biggest breakfast show on Kiss 100, this journey has been nothing short of a blessing” he said in part.

Kwambox and Kerry Martin actually joined Kiss FM as the replacements of Kamene Goro and Oga Obinna, who were the previous hosts of the Kiss FM morning show, before they also called it quits with the station.
