Nadia nakai today is emotionally as she marks her late boyfriend’s heavenly birthday who passed away years ago . Happy heavenly birthday to him and may his soul continue to rest in peace.
Taking to her Instagram account she wrote the following words :
” Must be a party in heaven . Happy birthday @akaworldwide .”
Nadia is a prominent south African rapper , songwriter and television personality of Zimbabwean – south African heritage known as “Bragga” , she gained fame for her hits “Naaa meaan ” and ” Imma Boss ” , winning best female artist at the 2019 south African hip-hop awards .
She was in a relationship with a south African rapper by the name of Kiernan Forbes widely known as Aka for years before the tragic incident sorrounding his death happened .
The late AKA was assassinated in a coordinated drive by shooting on February 10 ,2023 outside a restaurant on Florida road in Durban . He was shot in the head at close range by gunmen , marking a targeted killing that also claimed the life of his friend by the name of Tebello ” Tibz” Motsoane .” That incident left Nakai devastated.
Following his passing , Nakai expressed immense grief and honoured him with a tribute . As of mid- 2025 reports suggests she has moved on to a new relationship with a man by the name of Ryan Wip .
