Kelvin from Kakamega county painfully shares his sad story on what her lover went through in the hands of her boss. She later died a painful dead after being kidnapped and assaulted by four men, inclusive of her boss.
Kelvin and her lover who went by the name Jacinta met in Nairobi through his friend. Their attraction towards each other grew and within no time, they had started to date. Kelvin loved her to the core, and he saw a potential wife material in her. This was especially because she was hardworking, he vividly recalls.
Time went by, and they decided to take things to the next level. They did introductions to their families, and they were now officially a couple. According to Kevin, they had only been together for a year when the unthinkable happened.
On this fateful day, Jacinta went to work as usual but never returned. Kelvin became worried and tried to look for her everywhere. He decided to call in at her workplace, but all her workmates informed him that they hadn’t seen her leave the building where they worked.
He informed her family who helped him with the search and one day, he got a text from an unknown number asking him to call back. Not only that, but he called and the person on the other side was a doctor, who asked her to rush to Kenyatta National Hospital whereby Jacinta was admitted.
Kevin was shocked beyond words, and he rushed to the hospital. He found his lover lying helplessly and tears fell in his eyes. Upon asking her what happened, she informed her that her boss together with other four men had kidnapped her on her way home that evening.
She went ahead to say that they tortured, raped her and finally left her to die. Luckily, a good Samaritan came to her rescue and that’s how she found herself in hospital. Anger surged through Kevin, and he began seeking justice for her. Unfortunately, after several days, Jacinta succumbed due to excessive bleeding and pain.
It was the worst moments of his life, which he has never recovered from. He still asks himself numerous questions on why her boss did all that harm to her. According to him, the culprits are still walking free, and he hopes that justice will prevail one day.
