Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has warned President William Ruto about a certain someone who has the ability to topple him. Mutahi Ngunyi claims that Ruto’s deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, is the primary cause of his issues. Ngunyi asserted that Gachagua is a ticking time bomb in his house and that he is receiving orders from Uhuru Kenyatta and the Russians. “Dear Ruto: Your PROBLEM is Riggy G. Uhuru and the Russians are just his MASTERS.” Mutahi Ngunyi was warned.
Shortly after Mombasa resident Gachagua issued a public statement criticizing the National Intelligence Service for the demonstrations, Mutahi Ngunyi voiced these views. Gachagua claimed that NIS director Noordin Haji’s purported omission of knowledge of the planned protests was the reason behind the ugly photographs.
He even went so far as to ask Haji to step down so that a suitable replacement could be found. Different Kenyans have reacted to Gachagua’s remarks in different ways, highlighting UDA’s leadership shortcomings.
