According to an update by The second-in-command Who doubles up as the deputy president of the Republic of Kenya Rigathi Gachagua, he convened a meeting in Nairobi that brought together cabinet secretaries drawn from different Ministries in the current administration.
The meeting today coming at a time when the head of state President William ruto and a team of other leaders are currently held up in a meeting and Israel together with the president and prime minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.
From the update the meeting today was attended by several cabinet secretaries including prime cabinet Secretary musalia mudavadi and the attorney general of the Republic of Kenya Justin Muturi among other leaders.
According To the deputy president, the meeting discussed among other things the role of the cabinet in enhancing the current all of following an increment of the cost of living which has become a burden to a majority of Kenyans.
He further reiterated the government’s commitment on ensuring that they implement is a plan that they issued to Kenyans during the Year campaign saying that President William ruto and his administration is keen on ensuring that a majority of the promises are fulfilled.
The government in recent years has come under sharp criticism of following the mishandling of the cost of living which has rendered a majority of Kenyans bankrupt with a majority pointing a finger to President William ruto to ensure that the prices of commodities in the country drop
