The incumbent Head of State President William Ruto issued a strong warning and a crackdown on churches that are spreading cultic practices after the expose on the activities of Pastor Mackenzie and Pastor Ezekiel Odero in the coastal region.
The government crackdown has been spearheaded by the Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki who has vowed to crack the whip and broadcast all fake pastors and religious leaders before the whole world.
However, the taskforce formed to probe into the issue has been rejected by some clearly members in the Pentecostal churches. Recent news update now indicate that the churches want president Ruto to dissolve the taskforce if their irreducible minimums is not met.
