Currently in the country, there are many discussions, debates and reactions surrounding the SGR contract that was exposed by Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen a day ago. When he took over the Ministry, the former Elgeyo Marakwet senator promised that he would expose the agreement and finally he did.
Well, Kipchumba Murkomen fulfilled his promise but as things seem to be, he didn’t think we’ll before making that move that today, landed him in trouble together with President William Ruto, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah and Defense CS Aden Duale.
While Kipchumba Murkomen though his revelations may end up hurting former President Uhuru Kenyatta alone, it included them as Kinuthia Pius reminded the nation that when the SGR contract was being signed back then in 2014, William Ruto was the closest person to Uhuru because he was the then Deputy President.
Apart from Ruto being the DP during those days, Kinuthia Pius stated reminded Kenyans that Aden Duale was the NA Majority Leader at that time, Kimani Ichung’wah was the chairperson of Budget Committee and Kipchumba Murkomen himself was the senate Majority Leader and thus, they were all part of that agreement.
