It is a big win for nominated MP Sabina Chege after the speaker of the national assembly Moses Wetangula declared that she will retain her position as the deputy chief Whip. Azimio leaders were pushing for her removal after associating with the Kenya Kwanza leaders.
“Sabina Chege retains Deputy Minority Whip position after court order bars National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula from removing her,” Moses Wetangula said.
However, this is a big win for Sabina Chege simply because she will continue serving as the deputy chief Whip in the parliament. Elsewhere, the speaker of the national assembly Moses Wetangula has been forced to kick out five members of parliament after causing trouble in the parliament. Sabina Chege, Tj Kajwang, and Millicent Omanga will stay outside the parliament building for the next two weeks.
