President William Ruto had a hard time earlier today when he tried to address supporters shortly after arriving in Kericho County, where he intends to launch several national government development projects.
In a video clip seen by this writer and which has gone viral, the visibly polite, relaxed, and humbled Head of State is interrupted by a group of youths informing him that tomorrow they will converge and protest against the Finance Bill 2024, which contains unpopular tax proposals.
Also in the video, the Head of State is seen releasing his usual smile, appearing to either ignore what the youths told him or avoid starting a political fire.
Meanwhile, anti-riot police officers in Mombasa are currently battling with deadly protests, where angry protesters have vowed to submit their documented grievances seeking to have the entire Finance Bill 2024 brought down in totality to the state lounge in Mombasa.
