The family of Magdalene Kalembe has been struck with grief after her untimely Demise. Until her death she served as a nominated MCA at Makueni County Assembly under Maendeleo Chap chap Party. The wife of former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile has died yesternight while receiving a at Mp shar Hospital.
According to CS Mutua, Magdalene fell ill late last week and was subsequently hospitalized at a hospital in Nairobi.She was being treated for dengue fever, a mosquito-borne illness that has been a growing concern in the region. Despite the medical team’s best efforts, she succumbed to the illness.Mutua expressed his deepest condolences to the Kalembe/Nguluku family, friends, and all who knew Magdalene.
Various leaders have expressed sadness sending condolence messages to the deceased’s family.
Speaker of Makueni County Assembly said Magdalene was a devoted leader who ensured justice was served in execution of her public duties.
“She was a humble, honest and a devoted leader who firmly upheld fairness and justice in execution of her public duties. On behalf of my family and the County Assembly of Makueni, I convey sincere condolences to the family and the people of Kibwezi West” speaker Douglas Mbilu eulogized.
