Concern is growing in Lugari Constituency following the disappearance of Ms. Linet Ngome, a junior secondary school teacher at Lwandeti D.E.B Comprehensive School.The incident, reported on Thursday, December 18, has caused concern among her family, coworkers, and the local community.
Reports indicate that Ms. Ngome has vanished from her home without leaving any clues.
Her car was later found parked near her family home, with some of her clothing inside.
The details regarding her disappearance are still murky, which raises significant concerns for her safety and well-being.
In response, Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera has publicly called on both the authorities and the public to help find Ms. Ngome.
He has reached out to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) offices in Matete and Kakamega to urgently investigate and clarify the circumstances of her disappearance.
MP Nabwera has encouraged anyone with any information, no matter how minor, that could aid in locating Ms. Ngome to come forward and report it to the authorities.He stressed the importance of community collaboration in ensuring her safe return. “This is a heartbreaking time for the family, the school, and the entire community,” said Nabwera. “We need to do everything possible to ensure she is found safely.”
The situation has created worry among her colleagues and students, prompting community members to rally together to support search efforts.
Local leaders have also called for alertness and assistance, emphasizing that any piece of information could be vital in finding Ms. Ngome.
