This is how Wanjiku Wakogi finds herself since rising to the position as a successor to George Macgoye who was posted to Djibouti as ambassador.

A lawyer, Ms Wakogi is a long-serving Public Servant who has led an illustrious career in various Offices and Departments. She has served with distinction.

Wakogi had previously served as Secretary, State Corporations Advisory board before her appointment was revoked by President William Ruto in 2023.

By virtue of her position, Wakogi is technically the one running the show in the second most powerful public office in Kenya.

Wakogi occupies the position that was once held by Ken Osinde and Maryanne Kitany who worked during the tenure of President William Ruto as Deputy President.
