Celebrated Kenyan digital creator and YouTuber Maureen Waititu has in the last few hours been spotted going on a wild rant on her Instagram stories.
This is because she recently noticed how a grown woman had been endlessly thirsting over her last-born son Kai, something which left her shocked to the core.
Maureen Waititu actually opened up about this in posts that she made on her Instagram stories, where she shared some screenshots of how the woman had been sending her some sweet messages, where she openly declared her love for Kai.
The woman said “I crush on Kai”.
In her response however, Maureen Waititu was clearly surprised this now forced the woman to explain what she meant in that statement.
She claimed that it was just a remark that she made jokingly and that she just appreciated how cute Kai was.
Maureen Waititu however clapped back at her, by telling her that it was inappropriate for a grown woman to say such comments about a little boy.
“Says everyone who wants to say nasty things hiding behind ‘jokes’. I want you to reflect on how what you said looks like. If a grown man said that about a 7 year old girl then it would be ‘different’. Don’t you ever joke like that with my little boy 😡😡” she said.
This however was not the first time that the anonymous lady was thirsting over Kai.
When Maureen Waititu scrolled her inbox to see the messages that she had been receiving from the woman, it was clear that she had been thirsting over Kai since August 2020, when he was just two-years-old.
At the time the lady said:
“Kai makes my day he’s full of energy 😂😅 I really love this little Prince 😘.
The lady continued doing the same thing in 2021 and also in 2022, where she even told Maureen Waititu to tell Kai to send her some flowers on Valentine’s Day.
“Oooh my goodness this bond 😭😭😭 baby Kai with the energy and cute smile always,,,I love how he talks ooh baby boy 🥳🥳 tell him I need Valentine flowers” she said.
In her reaction, Maureen Waititu advised her fellow mothers to always protect their kids from people who say such things about young kids, because they may have some ulterior motives.
“I’m just disgusted 🤮 I don’t know what she meant but I can’t imagine leaving my child with such a person. Btw, boys are as vulnerable as girls are. Please be paranoid about your kids” she said.
