As the Kenyans continue to demonstrate against Finance Bill 2024 which is to table in the National Assembly today, several leaders have urged Member of National Assembly to reject the Bill. Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leaders have urged her leaders to reject Finance Bill 2024 because they are punitive to Kenyans.
On the other hand, several Kenyans who has been demonstrating in streets of Nairobi have been arrested.
And now, a video of a young lady was resist arrest from the police has resurface online. Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Deputy leader, who was Raila’s running mate in 2022 polls Hon Martha Karua has reacted to the video. Hon Karua revealed that great leadership and demonstration of people is powered by the youth.
Members of Parliament from Kenya Kwanza coalition and those allied to the government are expected to support Finance Bill today after today’s meeting at State House, Nairobi which was chaired by President Ruto.
