The Kenyan social media have been filled with ‘Kwa Mbae’ phrase coming up in every social media application with many not understanding the phrase well but still using it.

The phrase is being used to criticize the government and it’s issues indirectly, including corruption and misuse of power and to add humor to serious political topics.

This viral slang is being used to mimic or joke about Peter Mbae’s serious, analytical way of talking whenever he appears to address government issues to Kenyans.

Peter Mbae is a Kenyan politician, governance expert, and former senior government official who resigned and started his journey to talk about government accountability after being one of the key government officials overseeing implementations of government projects.

As reported today by Mt Kenya Daily after a long discussion of people wanting to know where is ‘Kwa Mbae’ it’s finally disclosed.

It’s reported that the location of the phrase is a building owned by a well known KDF MC Misango Mbae.
