The battle line has been drawn and the rubber is ready to meet the road. The feud between the Kenyan entertainment industry and Tanzania’s music industry has escalated and Kenyans are already threatening to boycott Tanzanian music, why would Kenyans do that?, well seat back and relax and watch how we unravel the endless debate between Kenyan artists and Tanzanian artists.

A few days ago, a clip of a Tanzanian aspiring musician being disqualified for singing a Kenyan song in Tanzania went viral. The judges claimed the musician should not promote foreign songs in Tanzania since they have enough artists to be promoted within their borders.

The clip has since caused a heated debate online as a section of Kenyans have threatened to boycott Tanzanian music since most of their listeners are located in Kenya.

Others dragged Eric Omondi into the conversation who has been seen severally fighting for the Kenyan entertainment industry.

Shortly after the clip ignited a heated debate online, Kenyans called out the judges responsible for discriminating against Kenyan music in Tanzania as some went to the extent of unleashing their attack in their comment section.

“Huyu atajua umbwakni ni kitu mbaya..enyewe msanii wa kenya wa chini anamake doo kushinda adi wasanii wao wakubwa” a random fan told Master j who was responsible for discriminating against Kenyan music in Tanzania.

In response, master j blasted Kenyan artists referring to them as underpaid artists whose performance fee can’t match Diamond platnumz’ performance fee.

“The last time I checked Diamond makes more money on one show than all your A-List artists combine. Au umesahau? You are really misinformed” master j claimed.
