In February, Royal Media Services employees gifted Chemutai a lovely cake and sang for her on her last day at the Maalim Juma-based media house.

The political reporter shied away as some of her colleagues teased her.

Chemutai cut the cake, and multi-talented journalist Jamila Mohammed fed her as colleagues cheered.

“I’m going to miss you guys. I’m very careful by how I handle with myself because naweza cheka cheka niko na roho ndogo. I talk a lot and people think everyday is a happy day. Sometimes, we have our challenges but we don’t carry sand to the beach,” Chemutai said.

The mother of two recalled her first days at Citizen TV, leaving her colleagues awed.

Jamila pampered Chemutai with praises, describing her as a hardworking, talented journalist with a great attitude.

“Your attitude is amazing You give your all. Beba hiyo attitude enda nayo and you will prosper,” Jamila said.

Where is Chemutai Goin working?
After quitting Citizen TV, the mother of two landed a new job at the office of the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula as the principal media relations officer.

Muigarango South MP Silvanus Osoro shared a video hanging outside parliament with Chemutai and his colleague, MP Gideon Kimaiyo.

Chemutai was dressed in a long black dress and high heels of the same colour as she enjoyed a chat with the two gentlemen.

Fans of the former senior political reporter noted that she looked gorgeous admitting they miss her on TV.
