Kennedy Rapudo could not hide his joy after walking away from the Pulse Awards ceremony holding two major awards one for his wife, Amber Ray, and another for their daughter, Africana. The event, which took place today, saw both Amber and Africana recognized for their growing influence in Kenya’s fashion and lifestyle scene.
Rapudo explained that one of the trophies was for Lifestyle Influencer of the Year, won by Amber Ray, while the second was for Fashion Influencer of the Year, awarded to their daughter, Africana. Speaking after the event, Rapudo expressed deep pride in the two, referring to them as “his girls.”
“I’m proud of my wife and my daughter. They were nominated in these categories and they deserved it,” Rapudo said
He also hinted at a major birthday surprise for Amber Ray this month, revealing that he intends to celebrate her in an unforgettable way.
“She is the mother of my children and she deserves everything good,” he added.
Africana, though young, has already made a name for herself in the Kenyan fashion scene. When asked how he handles online criticism and trolling, Rapudo maintained that negativity does not shake him.
“I hold onto my values with both hands. That’s what keeps me grounded,” he responded calmly.
