The construction of the new home promised to Ezekiel Cheruiyot, the late Kelvin Kiptum’s father, is coming along nicely, with the house nearing completion and even having electricity connected.

A recent Facebook post shows that the skeleton of the house, as promised by President William Ruto, is virtually complete, with workmen now starting on the roofing. The framework of the house, made of cement blocks, is visible, and plenty of room has been left for doors and windows, implying a visually beautiful design when completed.

With the skeleton completed, the focus has shifted to roofing the house, with progress indicating that it will have a red roof when done.

Netizens have reacted positively to the development:

Talia Jemtai: “Congratulations, Mr. President.”

Catherine Wangari: “His house looks better.”

Sharline Komen: “This is not bad.”

Catherine Wangari: “Vincent Kosgei Serem, everything happens by God’s grace.”

Scolah Kemei: “Very good work, keep that good work up Mr. President “
