Kasipul MP aspirant Philip Aroko has expressed concern over the death of a man allegedly killed in a clash between supporters of two ODM politicians ahead of the upcoming by-elections.

The incident involved his supporters and those of Boyd Were, who won the ODM ticket. The deceased, identified as Bruno, was described by Aroko on Facebook as “a bright, loyal young man, a friend to many, and a tireless supporter of our community.”

Aroko added that Bruno’s kindness and courage touched every life he met, and they are mourning a son taken too soon.

Philip Aroko stated: “Let us honour Bruno by caring for one another, by remembering the warmth he gave, and by making our community a place worthy of his memory. Go well, comrade; you will not be forgotten. The violence meant to spread fear among our people will not succeed. We refuse to be broken by hatred or intimidation.”

“In this moment of sorrow for Bruno and all who have suffered, we choose unity over division, courage over panic, and healing over anger. Let us stand together to protect one another, to support grieving families, and to keep our communities safe. Our strength is in our solidarity; together, we will honour those we lost by building a better and safer tomorrow.”
