In the last few hours or so, Triza Njeri, the estranged wife of renowned Kikuyu Gospel musician Karangu Muraya, has taken to her social media platforms and penned a heartfelt apology to her fans and also the brands that she works for as an ambassador.
This is because of what unexpectedly happened on Sunday at her album launch; an event that took place at the Bluesprings Hotel.
It can be remembered that her estranged husband Karangu Muraya attended that event, and he even used that opportunity to try and mend their broken marriage, by publicly apologizing to Triza Njeri’s parents for how he had married a second wife without consulting her.
On Tuesday however, an audio of Triza Njeri was leaked by some unknown person and it confirmed just how much she wanted Karangu Muraya to be at the event.
This is because she was heard defending Karangu Muraya after someone tried to prevent him from accessing the location of the event.
The mother of three made it clear that she was not going to sit and watch as the father of her kids was being disrespected.
Triza Njeri was further heard boldly telling anyone who wanted to unfollow her because Karangu Muraya attended the event to do so.
“I hear that she (someone) told the security not to allow Karangu to enter the event. She wanted to block him as who? I will not accept that and anyone who will unfollow me because of this let it be so. I will not sit here and let the father of my children be disrespected, hio hio hapana. I did leave this house, but he still has his respect as the father of my children” she said.
The move by Triza Njeri to allow Karangu Muraya to attend the event also rose eyebrows of many, because the two are actually working as ambassadors of different brands, albeit rival ones.
Since the album launch was an event of Triza Njeri, it was obviously expected that only the banners of the brands that she works for would be the only ones present at the event.
Many were however surprised when they saw some banners of the brands that Karangu Muraya also work for at the event.

A good example is how Triza Njeri is the brand ambassador of Karis Karis Mobiles that deals with mobile spare parts, but there was a huge banner of Dama Mobile Spares at the event, which is a rival company.
Triza’s apology
On Tuesday night however, Triza Njeri took to her Facebook account and made it clear that she regretted what happened.
She further apologized to her fans and also the brands that she works for.
“Dear fans,
Things happen and we learn. On this, I choose to take it as a lesson which I will hold dearly moving forward. I apologize for any misunderstanding or unintended offense that this order of events have caused you my fans and BRANDS that I support.
My fans you’ve been my source of inspiration and strength during my most difficult times/Moments. You saw a woman who was bleeding, broken and looked down upon and fought for her with your all and on that I am ashamed of my actions…” Triza said in part.
She added:
“On that fateful day emotions ran high, my past experience took control and pressure from outside took over…Consumed by frustration and anger I couldn’t hold it anymore. My actions have not only impacted you my fans, But have also cast a shadow on the BRANDS who trusted in me and my family at large.
