Justina Wamae has given out directive measures that the National Government should follow in consideration importing Chinese products in Kenya.
Justina Wamae argued that Chinese have made use by local importors orders to forecast demand and preference in Kenya. Justina Wamae has urged the government of Kenya to manufacture its own products by doing the following.
“China square, Chinese have made use by local importors orders to forecast demand and preference in Kenya. They are bringing China to Kenya without brokers (our importers) now let’s manufacture our products but GoK aka Kenya Limited Company should take a lead by;
1. Lowering the cost of production.
2. Not borrowing from local banks so that Kenyans have loan products accessible and available.
3. The raw materials is hemp which we can easily grow in Kenya. They are not cheaper than our importors but we now have to manufacture our own products. Ample secure parking is where they have an upper hand”, Justina Wamae.
