Former presidential candidate and pastor Joseph Kabuleta has put a specific date on his prediction about the future of the Museveni family in Uganda’s presidency.
Kabuleta made the prediction while appearing on the Morning After podcast, where he spoke confidently about what he believes could happen before June 2027.
“By June 2027, no one in President Museveni’s family will be around for the presidency. Their rule ends in the middle of 2027,” Kabuleta said.
He did not explain what he expects to happen between now and June 2027. He also did not give details about who could take over or how the political change he described would happen.
The prediction comes as the question of President Yoweri Museveni’s succession continues to attract attention in Uganda.
Museveni has secured another term in office, while his son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has increasingly featured in political discussions about Uganda’s future leadership.
The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) has also been promoting Muhoozi as a possible presidential contender for the 2031 elections. This has made discussions around the Museveni family and succession even more closely followed by political supporters and critics.
Kabuleta, who has previously contested for Uganda’s presidency, has now given his own timeline.
June 2027 is still ahead, and there is no information in his remarks showing what he expects to trigger the predicted change. For now, the pastor has left Ugandans with a date and a major political prediction.
