Kapseret Legislator Oscar Sudi has reacted after attending the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group Meeting which was hosted today morning by President Ruto at State House.
Oscar Sudi, a close ally of the President, revealed that he was present at the closed door Parliamentary Group meeting that deliberated on the contentious Finance Bill.
Oscar Sudi revealed that he found it pleasing to hear how President is keen to listen to Kenyans voices as far as matters Finance Bill is concerned.
“It was my pleasure to be part of the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group Meeting at the State House with our leader President William Ruto. It was pleasing to hear how the President is keen on addressing the urgent needs of Kenyans, especially, touching on the Finance Bill 2024.” Reads MP Oscar Sudi’s message.
Oscar Sudi’s reactions came moments after the PG Meeting which resulted in the removal of taxes to accomodate the views of Kenya. 16 per cent VAT on bread, VAT on the transportation of sugar, 2.5 per cent Motor Vehicle tax are some of the taxes that were removed.
