Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura’s wife, Nelius Mukami, has opened up once again about her long-running health challenges, revealing that her endometriosis symptoms have returned. In a Facebook update shared Wednesday night, the outspoken maternal health champion posted a picture of the medication she is currently using to help contain the pain.
She accompanied the image with a message expressing her deep frustration, noting that she had believed her treatment last year had finally put an end to the condition.
Her revelation comes just a year after she went through her third surgery in an attempt to completely eliminate endometriosis and adenomyosis. For over a decade, Nelius battled both conditions, which heavily contributed to her struggles with infertility.
After relying on pain medication for years, she eventually chose surgery as a permanent solution. She remained admitted for several days following the procedure before being released once her condition improved.
