Willis Raburu saddened fans yesterday when he had to take a rain check for a show he was supposed to host.
The burly TV personality was at pains to explain this fact to his fans on his Instagram page. His apologetic caption read,
“I really really hate disappointing my fans. I promise to make it up to you. Let me get better ❤️🩹 Love you all!”
He then went on to explain that an illness had caused him to have to cancel his attendance at the April Babies that was taking place at Garage Thika.
“Unfortunately this evening a stomach infection began that has left me feeling weak and unable to function at 100%. I would do anything for my fans, many of who had already turned up and sent me messages saying they were ready for me.”
The father of one then explained that he would be seeking medical attention for the issue, adding that he was sure he would get better promptly.
“Once again I apologise to the fans and to the management of Garage Thika.”
Willis then assured his fans that he would be in talks with the venue so that they could reschedule the event.

Nicole Kidman: Acting has made me ill
Nicole Kidman reveals she puts so much into her acting that she’s sometimes left feeling sick because her body can’t differentiate between performing and real life.

One thing I admire about this apology is that one can sense how much he values his fans and the lengths to which he go to give them a memorable performance.
Unlike Willis who prefers to be at 100% health-wise when performing on stage, American musician, Gwen Stefani, once did a whole tour while pregnant.
It was a tough time for her, something she would later relate to Vogue magazine telling them, “I would want to throw up during certain songs. Certain outfits would make me sick. It was torture. I toured until I was four-and-a-half months pregnant, showing.”
Despite the morning sickness, Gwen soldiered on and put on shows that were consistently colorful and exciting.
Talk about a tough cookie!
