Kikuyu radio presenter Muthee Kiengei has revealed that he will resign from his long-held position at Kameme FM. Kiengei cited a request from Hon. Moses Kuria, who asked him to concentrate with his new role as a bishop of JCM church rather than holding two positions.

He made it clear that Hon Moses Kuria asked him to work at JCM and leave one job to a needy youth. He went on to explain his rationale, stating that he don’t argue with elders and if according to Moses Kuria JCM is a Job, he is going to resign from kameme FM.

Kiengei has worked at Kameme FM for the past 14 years, where he has built a loyal following with his unique on-air persona and commitment to engaging with the local Kikuyu community. His announcement has sparked questions about who will succeed him in the coveted radio slot.

“Who would you love to succeed and enter in my shoes? 14 years down the line in radio is a good journey and maybe the dance floor ain’t favouring the dancer” Kiengei mused in his post, asking fans to suggest on who should take over his role.
