Popular content creator and prankster Nickson Andere, popularly known as Nicki Big Fish, has revealed that he once applied to set a Guinness World Record for the longest live prank show.

The revelation comes as he embarks on a new live prank series, Big Fish on the Move.

Speaking during an interview with TV 47 on Friday, Nicki shared that he had submitted his application to Guinness World Records towards the end of 2024.

“I applied for the Guinness World Records back on December 14, 2024, because I wanted to do the longest live prank show, from 7 am to 7 pm, ” he said.

“I had planned for many pranks and intended to move from one to another without resting. They had already processed the application and were at the stage of arranging the team and costs I would have incurred, but we never took the conversation further.”

Nicki added that Guinness had given him the initial go-ahead for the record attempt.

However, he said the ambitious plan did not materialise due to personal setbacks.

“I had issues; I got sick and was in the hospital for like three months,” he explained.

“I have been adjusting, and now I am back on track.”

The prankster also announced his latest venture, Big Fish on the Move, which he described as a live prank initiative across multiple counties.

The new concept aims to provide fans with a behind-the-scenes look at his pranks, challenging critics who claim his content is scripted.

“Sometimes we do a prank on about 17 people, but after editing, only the three best clips make it to the final video,” Nicki explained.

“Now, people will be able to see the raw part live. If there is a moment I get beaten or surprised, it won’t be edited out; it will be seen live,” he added with a light-hearted laugh.

According to Nicki, the tour will cover 12 counties, with the first show already held in Nakuru.

He plans to move to Mombasa next, though he is keeping the exact locations under wraps to prevent people from waiting for him at specific spots.

“In the process, I will also explore the local culture,” he said.

He said that the live shows will be jam-packed with more than ten activities, each lasting a minimum of four hours, streamed simultaneously on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube.

Nicki emphasised that the pranks will be friendly and fun, designed to entertain and showcase the creativity of the industry.

With Big Fish on the Move, Nicki aims to engage audiences more authentically, demonstrating that pranks can be spontaneous, unscripted, and genuinely enjoyable.
