Latest reports indicates how members of parliament hailing from Migori forced president William Ruto to drop Migori out of the scheduled Nyanza visit.
As reported by Thursday’s People’s Daily publication, the MPs wrangles with Migori governor Ayacko forced statehouse to react faster and drop the county out of Ruto’s planned tour.
It’s claimed that the MPs had vowed to boycott Ruto’s visit after the government visited Ruto at statehouse without other elected leaders as was previously agreed upon.
However to tame the division, statehouse decided to drop off the visit to Migori, an incident that is claimed to have irked some migori leaders.
It should be noted that president William Ruto is expected in Nyanza ahead of Jamhuri day celebrations.
