After being on the run for 11 days, police corporal Caroline Kangogo’s lifeless body was found I’m his parent’s bathroom in Elgeyo Marakwet county.
This marked the end of the road for the fugitive cop who is alleged to have shot dead two men, including her colleague, police constable John Ogweno and businessman Peter Njiru Ndwiga.
After the death of two men, Kangogo was labeled dangerous as police officers launched a manhunt to have her arrested.
For almost two weeks, she escaped the police dragnet as she remained at large amid fears that she was on a killing spree after going berserk.
But on theb12th day, as police intensified efforts to have her arrested, her lifeless body was discovered at her parent’s bathroom.
The killer cop is believed to have turned gun on herself, bringing to an end an exhaustive debacle which had strained even her own colleagues.
