Today, the 10th day of February 2023 marked 4th anti-government rally conducted by Azimio leaders in their pursuit of justice.
Led by their head Raila Odinga, the Azimio team stormed Mavoko town in Machakos county where they continued to urge their supporters from the lower part of Eastern Kenya to remain by their side as they continue seeking for justice.
The opposition formation continued to slam the government of the day for failing to bring back to life the economy and also failing to get rid of poverty and famine in that part of the country.
This anti-government rally that took approximately 2 hours before the town backed to normalcy was attended by Raila, Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugine Wamalwa Jeremiah Kioni, Wajackoyah amongst other top officials.
The meeting was also graced by Members of Parliament who included Mishi Mboko of Likoni, Tim Wanyonyi of Westlands, Opiyo Wandayi of Ugunja, Millie Mabona of Suba North amongst others.
And dramatic events were almost watched during the rally as Azimio supporters who graced the meeting demand that protocol be broken in favour of Westlands Member of Parliament Tim Wanyonyi.
Wamalwa who would speak and then hand over the baton to Kalonzo Musyoka was forced to pass the microphone to Wanyonyi who spoke before giving Kalonzo Musyoka the microphone.
Kalonzo Musyoka made his remarks then later invited Raila Odinga who addressed the crowd.
